Deep Space Scanner

Similar to a Combat Scanner, the Deep Space Scanner represents the latest in surveying and information cataloguing technology. Using a new and developing technology that harnesses the unique properties of Neutrino particles, the Deep Space Scanner is able to scan far and wide across adjacent star systems by attaching and collecting data from passing Neutrinos produced by nearby stars. These particles pass through the vacuum of space and through solid objects at a rate so fast that the Deep Space Scanner is able to collect detailed information that reveals the locations of planets, stations, traders, asteroids, and mines. This powerful and accurate level of measurements makes it the most expensive but also the most coveted device for any and all scanning purposes.
